I am new to yoga – I have not done yoga for a while, can I attend your class?
Yes, the classes are slow and gentle, however tell the teacher that you are new to yoga.
What do I need to do before my first class?
Just come along 10-15 minutes earlier to fill out the registration form and meet with us. Fell free to discuss any questions, injuries or health issues with the teacher. All participants and ourselves are very friendly welcoming people.
To get the most out of your yoga experience, could you please read through our Yoga Guidelines. Do not eat a main meal 1-2 hour before class.
I have an injury or medical condition; can I attend your class?
Please check 1st with your medical practitioner for approval. If you get the green light just let us know or your movement restrictions and we will give you advise on our to adjust the practice and give you extra support so you can be safe.
Remember always to be respectful of your body, to accept your limitations. Be gently, patient and take extra pauses to rest, listen to your own needs.
Do I need to bring a yoga mat?
While we have spare mat free of charge, we prefer that you could bring your own mat.
What should I wear for yoga?
Yoga is practised barefoot so please remove your shoes at door. If your feet are cold you can keep your socks until we start moving.
Please wear semi-fitted clothes that allow you to move comfortably. Active wear outfit, legging longer short, or gym pants are all good. Bring extra layers in colder month and for the end of practice relaxation.
Avoid wearing “noisy” bangles and strong perfume.
